W. Tyler Gay

Principal
205-757-3390

My passion for financial planning all began at a small firm here in Birmingham. After working there for a couple of years, I decided that while I was in the right industry, I needed to be able to make recommendations that truly served my clients’ best interests.

Upon having this realization, I decided to start my own firm to deliver unbiased, sound financial advice through streamlined technology to those who's values and goals align with mine. Since then, I’ve worked with individuals, couples and families of all backgrounds and ages.

Every day, I find new ways to better serve our clients. And with a team that shares the same values and vision as I do, I have no doubt Stockbridge Wealth will continue to grow and make a real difference in our communities. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. My two small girls, Taylor Grace and Madelyn keep my wife, Kathryn and I very busy! We enjoy being outdoors and being active with friends and family, Auburn Sports, and watching English "Football".

Which would you pick: Living on the beach or living near the mountains?
Live on the beach in the winter and near the mountains in the summer.

Imagine being approached by a genie who offers you three wishes. What might those wishes be?
I’d wish for three more wishes, duh!

Brent Celso MBA

Independent Insurance Specialist
205-518-8773

Since 1996, Brent Celso has worked across several key areas of the financial services industry, including roles as a Senior Annuity Wholesaler and a Life Insurance Specialist for high-net-worth families. These experiences showed him how overwhelming and complex annuities can feel from the client’s perspective. Driven by a desire to provide a more straightforward alternative, Brent focuses on helping those nearing or in retirement understand their options in plain English. He takes the mystery out of Guaranteed Rate Annuities (MYGAs) and Fixed Indexed Annuities (FIAs) by breaking down fees and timelines into clear, relatable terms.

As an independent advisor, Brent isn't tied to any specific insurance carrier. This allows him to provide objective comparisons across multiple providers to find the strategy that actually fits a client’s specific needs. His approach is rooted in "education first," walking through scenarios side-by-side with his clients so they feel confident in the trade-offs. Holding an MBA and currently pursuing his ChFC®, Brent aims to keep the process low-pressure and transparent, often coordinating with a client's CPA or attorney to ensure their retirement strategy is tax-efficient and secure.

Outside of the office, Brent stays busy with a full house. He’s been married to his wife, Erica, for nearly 20 years and enjoys keeping up with his two children—one studying nursing and the other a high schooler interested in game design. When he has a bit of free time, he’s usually staying active on the ice playing hockey or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
